Join us for this immersive workshop, conducted in French, featuring Lewis Mehl-Madrona and Barbara Mainguy.
"Beyond learning; we'll build a circle to create collective energy, drawing on indigenous concepts. We'll forge bonds of friendship and experience the healing power of community. We'll explore how energy gains power when we interact. In this environment, we'll say goodbye to old stories and welcome new ones" - Lewis and Barbara
This workshop will help us find our own healing path and discover the healer within.
Supported by Lewis and Barbara's unconditional listening, humor and experience, we'll gain confidence in our own voice and creative potential through talking circles, life stories, traditional tales, song, dance, drumming, rituals, ceremony and energy healing. We'll discover the healing role of stories, identify our parasitic inner voices and invent playful scenarios to replace our obsolete narratives of failure.
We'll learn about Native American concepts of balance and health, and discover where recent discoveries in neuroscience and epigenetics intersect. We'll experience ceremony as a way of approaching the spirit world together, and become aware of the ongoing interactions between psyche, body, health and spirituality.
During the week, there will be a day devoted to the Inipi ceremony (sweat lodge).
This workshop is appropriate for anyone interested in stories and well-being. Previous participation in other workshops is not required.
